Dr Pooja Sharma

I am a trained career counselor and an academician with more than 15 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at prestigious institutions like University of Delhi and Netaji Subhas University of Technology. I have also been closely associated with a number of schools over the years, which has given me a deep understanding of students, their aspirations, and the challenges they face while choosing a career. I completed my higher education as well as my Ph. D from University of Delhi, and being a part of the academic world for so long has helped me closely observe the changing educational and career landscape.

Over the years, while interacting closely with students, I realized that many students do not struggle because they lack talent or capability, but because they are often under-guided, misinformed, or pushed towards unsuitable career choices due to societal pressure, confusion, or lack of awareness. I have seen students spending years pursuing careers that never truly matched their interests, strengths, or personalities, eventually leading to dissatisfaction and an unfulfilled professional life.

This realization inspired me to step into the field of career counselling through “Map2Success.” I strongly believe that every child is unique and born to shine in their own way. Through personalized counselling, psychometric assessments, career guidance, and admissions support in India and abroad, my aim is to help students make informed career choices and build successful, fulfilling, and happy futures.
